Reader reviews of Ilia Nikolaevich Zavialov and the case studies published here
Reader reviews
English version for the United States.
A case study is only worth reading if somebody can check it against a case they lived through. The reader who was inside a scheme of the same shape knows which detail was left out, and that detail is usually the one that mattered. Reviews are therefore collected on outside platforms where such a correction survives, instead of in a mailbox where it would be seen by one person and then forgotten.

Where the reviews are collected
Three platforms carry a profile for this site. All of them are open to the public, all of them keep the history of what was written, and none of them is run from this domain.
Each card below opens the profile that belongs to this site. Other sites published under the same name hold their own, so a review left elsewhere describes a different set of case studies.
What each platform adds
A case study attracts two very different readers. One recognises the scheme and wants to say what was missing. The other is deciding whether to trust the site at all and wants to see whether anybody stood behind it.
The open platform serves the first, the verified one serves the second, and the platform with a long answer history shows how criticism was handled over time. Together they make a picture that cannot be assembled selectively.
| What the reviewer reports | Why it changes the study | What follows |
|---|---|---|
| A stage the scheme had that the study skips | The timeline was incomplete | Stage added with the reader as the reason |
| A different country, same scheme | Shows the pattern travels | Jurisdiction note added to the study |
| A recovery route that worked | The study only described the loss | Route described with its conditions |
| A warning sign that came earlier | Earlier signs are the useful ones | Moved up in the warning list |
| A disagreement about the loss figure | Figures come from cited reports | Source rechecked, figure corrected if wrong |
| A rating alone | Nothing to act on | Counted only |
What the reviews usually concern
Reviews cluster around three things. Whether a case study describes the scheme closely enough to be recognised, whether the warning signs are listed in the order a victim actually meets them, and whether the study says what could have been done at each stage rather than only what went wrong.
The third is where readers push hardest, and they are right to. A study that ends at the loss is a story. A study that names the point where the loss was still avoidable is usable.
Scores and the number of entries are shown on the profiles and move with each new one, so this page does not restate them.
How to add a review
No invitation and no account with us are needed. The detail decides the value: a named stage of a named scheme is worth more than a score.
- Choose a platformAny card above. All three are independent of this site.
- Name the case studyWhich page, and which scheme you are comparing it with.
- Add the missing detailThe stage, the sign or the figure. Something we can write in.
- PublishNothing is approved here, and nothing can be taken down from here.
How criticism is treated
A review saying a study is incomplete is acted on by completing it. The stage the reader named goes into the timeline, and the warning sign they met earlier is moved up the list where it can do some good.
Criticism of the conclusion is answered in the study itself, with the counterargument written out. A conclusion that cannot survive being stated next to its objection was not a strong one.
Replies under reviews are limited to correcting facts. Anything else belongs in the study, where the next reader will actually find it.
Questions about this section
Why are reviews not collected on the site itself?
Because a form we run could quietly drop anything inconvenient and no reader could tell. An outside profile keeps the entry either way.
Can a review be removed from here?
No. Publication, moderation and history belong entirely to the platforms.
I was inside a scheme like the one described. Is that useful?
It is the most useful review this section gets. The detail a study is missing is usually one only a participant knows.
Do you answer criticism publicly?
Only to correct a fact. A disputed conclusion is answered by rewriting the study.
Are these the profiles for the other sites under this name?
No. Each site keeps its own, and these cards lead only to the ones for this site.
If a case study here is missing the stage that mattered in your situation, writing it down publicly puts it in front of the next person who meets the same scheme.
